What’s Coming Up Next for SiFive
SiFive has a global footprint, working with the world's largest semiconductor manufacturers, automakers, global hyperscale data centers, and consumer device companies. It’s no surprise then that we’re frequently at industry shows and events around the globe. We recently participated in shows across Asia, Europe, and the U.S., and we’re off to RISC-V Summit China next. Read on to learn more about our latest activities and what’s ahead.
SiFive will be talking about RISC-V and SiFive’s roadmap and momentum at the RISC-V Summit China, taking place from Aug. 21-23 in Hangzhou. In the exhibition hall we’ll be showcasing SiFive’s new state-of-the-art RISC-V development board, the HiFive™ Premier P550. At our booth we’ll also demonstrate our HiFive Unmatched Rev. B boards, which, given a host of new boards coming this fall, are now discounted to $299 —an incredible deal for a high performance development platform in a standard PC form factor.
SiFive’s executives will deliver a number of talks at RISC-V Summit China:
Krste Asanovic, Co-Founder & Chief Architect, will discuss the impressive momentum across the RISC-V ecosystem and share thoughts on where the architecture is headed.
Jack Kang, SVP, WW Business Development, Sales, and Customer Experience, will provide an update on SiFive’s roadmap, talking about our recent embedded announcements, our latest boards, and some of the innovative products we offer for the China market.
Rocky Zhang, Principal Field Applications Engineer at SiFive China, will be speaking about SiFive’s products for AI workloads.
To learn more about what SiFive has been up to, check out our sessions from the RISC-V Summit Europe which are now on YouTube. Here are some of the highlights:
During Krste’s state of the union keynote, he shared some of the latest updates in the RISC-V ecosystem.
Pete Lewin, Embedded and Automotive Product Director, discussed SiFive’s Essential product line, which is designed to optimize power and performance in a range of devices.
Dany Nativel, Senior Director, Product Marketing, gave a lightning talk about the HiFive™ Premier P550.
Additionally, Nathan Egge at Google presented recent work from RISE about harnessing RISC-V vector extensions to optimize a software video decoder. SiFive worked extensively behind the scenes with Nathan and others across the RISC-V community to support this work and we are extremely proud of the results and the learnings that came out of this project.
Watch for a couple of new important product announcements soon. Additionally, we’re gearing up for the RISC-V North America Summit in October, where we are the sponsor of the Developer Zone.
